  4. How dull life would be without treats. To the hungry, every morsel is a treat.
    Again, a wise and wonderful quote,and this time with a dash of whimsy ! Your photo of the female Cardinal in the snow with a precious morsel (fruit, seed?) is superb!

      A dash of whimsy. I like that! I wish it was a cardinal because I love them – grew up with them. Bill actually got some good pictures of some cardinals in southern AZ. This is a female Steller’s jay. So many treats in a day. Every beautiful thing. Thank you for your comment. ❤

  5. Whoops! I see in your reply to a comment that the bird is a Stellar Jay ! I didn’t realize that the bird was for one thing, a lot bigger than a Cardinal. We don’t have Cardinals in Washington State. We certainly do have Stellar Jays.

      • You’re very welcome, Mary. And, yes, I agree, especially in the time of year where I’m not often outside but I can come and visit here on the Blog Circuit, and find such amazing treasures. I find my heart filling up with the beauty from everyone’s ‘Soul Strolls’ as Spiritual Dragonfly says. This morning as I was getting breakfast, I was treated by a visit from several Chickadees. I just love them!
        I particular love your ability with a camera, to capture such close-ups.

      • Thanks. I love the chickadees a lot too. Thank you for liking my pictures. Chickadees are really hard to get. They flit around a lot, and just as I get them focused they are gone. If I could only print all the photos in my mind onto paper. Haha.
